Welcome To Fisherman's RV

In 1947 more than 50 years ago Jack and Blanche Himbaugh started Fisherman’s Trailer Court & RV Park.  Their love of Winchester Bay and the surrounding area inspired them to open a facility where families could spend their time enjoying all of the wonders the Winchester Bay area has to offer.

Today, their granddaughter Jackie continues that family tradition.  With modern improvements and up-dated technologies, Fisherman’s RV is providing a new generation of families with a safe, fun filled, family orientated facility.  Like the Jack and Blanche Himbaugh did 50 years ago, this new generation can enjoy all of the wonders the area has to offer.

Location is everything

Fisherman's Trailer Court & RV Park is nestled in a secluded cove, beneath a lush green forest of Douglas Fir, Cedar, and Pine trees.  The surrounding waters provide some the best Salmon, Trout, Steelhead, and Bottom Fishing in the Pacific Northwest.

Located in Winchester Bay's, Salmon Harbor on Oregon's south coast, you will find yourself surrounded by lakes, streams, rivers, and the majestic Pacific Ocean.  All of which offer up an opportunity for you to catch the big one.  Be sure and check out the Gallery for pictures of the big ones that did not get away.

Crabs, Crabs, and more Crabs!

If you have your taste buds set on some of the finest tasting Crab then Fisherman's RV is the place to go.

Dungeness Crabs can be caught from several of the docks throughout the Winchester bay harbor.

If you did not bring or do not have crab pots, just about every store in town carries them for sale or rent.  Those that do not can tell you where to get them.  They can also sell you bait.

If catching crabs and fish yourself are not to your liking however eating is, you may want to check out the Sportsman's Cannery.  They have Crab and a wide variety of other local seafood's available for sale.  Be sure and pick up one of their catalogs for those off season cravings.  They ship world wide.

There are also several restaurants in the area that serve up crab and other seafood delights as part of their daily menu.

What You will find at Fisherman's Trailer Court and RV Park.

Fisherman's RV is unique in that there are 68 spaces all tucked in out of the wind.  The trees from the surrounding hillsides block up to 70% of the wind but still offers a nice south westerly exposure.  This allows for very pleasant afternoons and evenings.

There is a large field for tent camping and plenty of storage for extra things like boats, ATV trailers, and additional vehicles.  You will have no trouble storing everything you need to make your vacation a memorable experience.
